All eyes were tuned to the NCAA Championship game between Villanova and Michigan. It included NBA players who had no scheduled game for the day. Some cheered for their respective teams, but Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and Los Angeles Lakers center Channing Frye dished out on each other some good old ribbing.

In their Twitter accounts, Wade and Frye exchanged light banters. Below is Frye's reply to Wade after the latter sarcastically quipped that he has a future in the breaking news profession:

For those who don't know, the two shared locker rooms during their stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Frye has been known to be a great guy, often teasing and playing mostly with Richard Jefferson. Wade, too, seems to be a fun and loving locker room guy despite his intense nature on the court. Though the two might have gone separate ways, their ties and relations remain firm.

A quick search online will reveal that the two have, in fact, uploaded several clips of one trolling the other. Some are in the weight room, some in the team plane. Below is a tweet from February, when the two were still teammates with the Cavs. It shows Wade trolling Frye:

An athlete's career in basketball is relatively short as compared to most professions. You'll be lucky if you get to play 10 or even 15 years in the league. Yet in a span of those years, one will eventually find a friend for a lifetime. It's no secret that Wade's best friend is LeBron James — he's on top of the list. Safe to say that Channing Frye, despite their short stint together, is not far behind.
