Miami Heat legend and recently retired NBA star Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, are starting a clothing line to support LGBTQ youth.

Wade and his family stood with their 12-year-old son Zion, who marched in the Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade in June. Wade announced the launch of the clothing line on Instagram:

The T-shirts are meant to benefit GLSEN, an LGBTQ awareness and education organization that was founded in 1990.

More on GLSEN and the T-shirts (via Torrey Hart of Yahoo! Sports):

GLSEN works to “end discrimination, harassment, and bullying based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression and to prompt LGBT cultural inclusion and awareness in K-12 schools,” according to its website.

The shirts read “Please Remain Inclusive & Dedicated 2 Equality,” and 50% of proceeds from sales will go to GLSEN. The family will also donate an additional $50,000 to the cause.

Wade has routinely drawn praise for his activism and fundraising efforts to benefit underprivileged youth, especially in Miami-Dade County. Union has her own long-standing record of philanthropic work and charitable causes, and has been an advocate for ending sexual abuse and domestic violence.

The couple also donated $200,000 to the “March For Our Lives” movement to end gun violence in 2018.

Wade has had to quell recent rumors of a potential comeback following an interview that he gave where he detailed his desire to stay in shape and continue working out with LeBron James at the Los Angeles Lakers practice facility.

The family recently moved to the L.A. area for their  son Zaire, who will play basketball at Sierra Canyon High School.
