Miami Heat starting point guard Goran Dragic suffered a left foot injury in Game 1 of the 2020 Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida (via South Florida Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman).

Goran Dragic has been the Heat's third-best player in the 2020 playoffs behind All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. The Heat have to pray that the lefty is able to play in Game 2, otherwise this series could get ugly really quickly.

During the 2019-20 regular season, Dragic averaged 16.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. The Heat veteran has increased his numbers to 20.9 points, 4.2 boards and 4.7 assists in the 2020 postseason.

Dragic becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Odds are the Heat will look to re-sign the talented floor general since he has a great relationship with Butler, Adebayo, head coach Erik Spoelstra and team president Pat Riley. Dragic is playing in his first career NBA Finals, so hopefully, he's able to play in Game 2 since this is a moment The Dragon has been dreaming about his whole life.

The Heat are underdogs against the Lakers despite going 12-3 in the Eastern Conference playoffs and taking out the best team in the NBA during the second round (Milwaukee Bucks). Los Angeles is a different animal since the club is led by two superstars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
