Aside from leading the Miami Heat to a Game 1 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, Jimmy Butler forged his name beside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade for several playoff franchise records.

Butler dropped 40 points in the Heat's 115-104 victory over the Bucks. Per ESPN Stats & Info, he is the fourth player in franchise history with a 35-point game in the playoffs. Wade had 14, James had nine, while Tim Hardaway had one.

He also becomes just the third player in team history to have a 40-point game in the playoffs, joining Wade and James.

Along with his 40 points, Jimmy Butler also had four rebounds, two assists and two steals. He was 13-of-20 from the field, 2-of-2 from deep, and 12-of-13 from the free-throw line.

Dwyane Wade and LeBron James piled up their 35 and 40-point games during their time with the Heat. As fans know, Wade is one of the greatest, if not the greatest player to don the Miami jersey. Even before James took his talents to South Beach, D-Wade had guided the franchise to multiple playoff appearances, including the 2006 NBA Championship.

When James teamed up with Wade, it was a partnership that blossomed right away. Etched in the memories of Heat fans are the hundreds of Wade-James alley-oop connections, their playoff scoring outbursts, and more importantly, the two titles they won.

When James and Wade left, the Heat went off the radar for a couple of years. It was a rebuilding process that took time. But from the looks of it, Pat Riley has finally formed another roster worthy to be considered elite.

Game 2 of the Eastern Semifinals between the Heat and the Bucks will be on Wednesday.
