The Miami Heat could reasonably be described as a gem mine when it comes to undrafted players. Several times over the past few seasons, Miami has added undrafted players to their roster and turned them into key supporting pieces.

Max Strus is the Heat's most recent example of an undrafted player turning into a productive piece of their rotation. The 25-year-old is averaging 11.7 points per game while shooting 42.6 percent on 3-pointers. His scoring abilities have caught the eyes of Heat fans and franchise star Jimmy Butler.

When asked about Strus after he scored 16 points and shot 4-7 from deep in a win over the Atlanta Hawks, Butler hilariously talked down on his teammate, saying he “actually stinks”.

Butler and Strus seem to have a joking love-hate relationship. Several times this season, Butler has teased Strus on his Instagram story. The chemistry between them is very real, though. Strus gave a more serious answer about the duo's chemistry that shows Butler is actually a very good teammate.

The friendly teasing between Butler and Strus is a sign of their affinity for one another. Miami has been rolling this season thanks to guys like Strus stepping up when key players have gone down with injuries.

After a mediocre season last year, the Heat are back to being a powerhouse in the Eastern Conference. They own the conference's second seed with a fire-powered offense and stout defense. With Bam Adebayo's return on the horizon, things are looking up for Miami.
