Miami Heat star Kyle Lowry left Game 3 against the Atlanta Hawks with an apparent hamstring injury and never returned. He made it very clear after the loss that he plans to miss no time. Not convinced? Well, just listen to this.

Per ESPN's Dave McMenamin, Lowry literally stayed up all night working on the hamstring ahead of Game 4 on Sunday.

The Heat veteran is the ultimate competitor and obviously wants to be out there with his squad as they look to take a 3-1 series lead. He is doing everything imaginable to make sure he's healthy enough to play.

Lowry didn't practice on Saturday and was seen walking gingerly on the hamstring. Rest is obviously the number one need for him right now, but getting around-the-clock treatment is huge, too.

In the Heat's defeat in Game 3, Lowry only had six points and five assists. His numbers have been down across the board this season with a decreased role in South Beach, but the former Raptor is still an important piece of this team.

That being said, if Lowry can't play, the Heat are deep enough to still get by in this series. Tyler Herro is a budding star, Jimmy Butler is still capable of taking over, and Bam continues to show out. The most important thing is to get Kyle Lowry back to full strength ASAP so he can help his squad make a title run.
