The Miami Heat recently emerged as a potential landing spot for Kyrie Irving amid his contract dispute with the Brooklyn Nets. Well, it sounds like this just isn't going to happen after team owner Micky Arison came out with a highly controversial tweet about anti-vaxxers.

Arison made no mention of Irving in his tweet as the Heat franchise owner shared an article about how anti-vaxxers “kill.”

Kyrie Irving remains unvaccinated to this very day and his decision not to get the COVID-19 vaccine caused a whole ruckus last season. Kyrie actually got exiled by the Nets because of this, and it wasn't until late in the season that he was allowed to return to the team. The seven-time All-Star has made it clear, however, that he does not consider himself to be an anti-vaxxer. He just doesn't want the vaccine.

This issue remains to be a very polarizing subject among Americans. However, there is no doubt as to how the Heat team owner feels about this. We all know how much autonomy Pat Riley has on the team, but at the end of the day, it would be shocking if Miami still decides to bring Kyrie to South Beach despite Arison's strong feelings against anti-vaxxers.
