Miami Heat rookie Tyler Herro is already on his way to the NBA Finals. He's been a key part of Miami's success all-season long and has proven so far that he's not shying away from the bright lights. The youngin' has been a walking bucket (someone tell Paul Pierce) his entire rookie campaign and has found ways to elevate his game inside the NBA Bubble.

Herro exploded for 37 big points in the Heat's pivotal Game 4 win over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals and is head coach Erik Spoelstra's biggest weapon off the bench. All this at the young age of 20.

Now that he's a few days away from making his NBA Finals debut, he still can't believe he's gone this far, this soon. When asked if he'd been told beforehand that he'd make the Finals as a rooke, Herro had this to say:

“I would probably say you’re out of your mind,” Herro said in ESPN's ‘The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz' (per miamiherald.com). “Just because obviously I know how hard it is. Coach Spo has been just reiterating that to us every game, every day that it’s not easy to get to where we are. So to not take anything for granted. But it’s just crazy to be here and playing LeBron in a couple days for the world championship.”

Herro has definitely earned everything he has gotten so far in the league. In his first ever post-season, the hotshot Kentucky standout averaged 16.5 points per game, 5.5 rebounds and added 3.9 assists in his first 15 playoff games. Now, the Milwaukee native has the perfect opportunity to continue his stellar debut season in basketball's biggest stage – the NBA Finals.

Don't be surprised if Tyler Herro puts on his cape again and comes out hot against the Los Angeles Lakers.
