Miami Heat icon Udonis Haslem doesn't know yet if he's going to retire after the 2019-20 season.

Haslem, who signed a one-year deal with the Heat this past summer, says the guys on the team want him to come back.

“I can’t say. The guys want me around,” Haslem said, via Larry Brown Sports. “Bam [Adebayo] tells me every day, ‘I don’t know what the hell I’m going to do when you retire.’ Jimmy [Butler] always has me around. We’ll see. My kids are getting older. We’ll see.”

Haslem has only appeared in three games for the Heat this season. He played in just 10 games in 2018-19.

Now 39, Haslem is mostly wanted back in Miami for his veteran leadership. Having the young guys on the team watch Haslem work and train will also be beneficial to the Heat in the long run.

In 857 games with the Heat, Udonis Haslem has career averages of 7.6 points and 6.7 rebounds. He's a three-time champion and Miami's all time leader in offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds and total rebounds.

The Heat are 36-20 on the season. They are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings and look like title contenders with All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo leading the way.
