Jimmy Butler’s mind was reportedly totally blown away by all the pomp and circumstance surrounding Dwyane Wade’s last home game with the Miami Heat, according to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.

Butler and the Philadelphia 76ers took on Wade in South Beach during Wade's last home game with the Heat. Butler reportedly told friends after the game that being able to see what Miami and the Heat organization are about left an enormous impact on him.

The Heat don't have the cap space to sign Butler outright. They would have to complete a sign-and-trade with the Sixers to acquire the four-time All-Star.

Miami tried to trade for Butler when he requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves. It's widely known throughout the league Heat president Pat Riley and head coach Erik Spoelstra are big fans of Butler. Wade and Butler are very close friends too. The two have probably talked about this situation. Wade could possibly play a big role in getting Butler to South Beach.

Jimmy is one of the best two-way wings in the league. He averaged 18.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists with the Timberwolves and Sixers this past season while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from beyond the arc. Depending on what it takes to get Butler, Heat fans are hoping Riley is able to get the 29-year-old to Miami this summer.
