One Miami Heat fan had a strange request for Heat rookie Tyler Herro on Thursday, asking the former Kentucky star to sign his bucket:

Cue the “Tyler Herro is a bucket” captions now. That much proved to be true on Wednesday night.

The Heat have struggled on the road all season long, but Herro scored 19 points and was 5-of-8 from deep during a win over the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Herro has indeed played a big role in the 27-10 start for the Heat. The Milwaukee native is averaging 13.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 rebounds while shooting close to 39 percent from beyond the arc.

Similarly, Herro has come up big in the clutch on a number of occasions. He drilled a go-ahead three to help beat the Chicago Bulls in overtime on Dec. 8, then hit a ridiculous pull-up trey to help the Heat defeat the Sixers at the end of December.
