The Charlotte Hornets will reportedly add two more young players to their roster, as according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the team has agreed to contractual terms with twins Cody and Caleb Martin.

Statistically, Caleb was a better player than Cody during their final year in Nevada. He put up 19.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. However, since he went undrafted in this past June's draft, the Hornets were able to get him for a cheaper deal. If he will be able to adjust his game to the pros and be able to average at least half of his production in college, it is likely for his contract to be fully guaranteed.

Cody put up 12.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in his senior year in Nevada, and the main reason why he got a three-year deal aside from the fact that he was drafted is that according to most scouts, his game is more NBA-ready compared to Caleb.

It is unclear if the Martins will see significant minutes for the Hornets next season, but they will be joining two other rookies who will probably fight tooth-and-nails just to be able to make it to the team's main roster. General manager Mitch Kupchak has already said that their rookies will likely spend most of the season playing in the G-League, and that included 12th overall pick PJ Washington and 52nd overall pick Jalen McDaniels.

Still, with the Hornets not expected to win a lot of games next season, it is possible for Washington, McDaniels, and the Martins to get called up so they could showcase what they can do.

Who knows? One of these guys could become a star in the future.
