Deadpool fans rejoice! The Merc with a Mouth finally joins the MCU as he breaks down the latest trailer for 20th Century Studios' Free Guy along with Korg.

Ryan Reynold's Deadpool has officially made his first appearance in the MCU and fans are absolutely losing it. We finally see the character next to Taika Waititi's Korg as they break down the latest trailer for Free Guy. A film that features both actors with Reynolds as the protagonist and Waititi as the villain.

The video is clearly just a meta-layered promotional ad for Reynolds and Waititi's new film. However, this is definitely a huge milestone for Marvel Studios as they finally have our favorite anti-hero share the screen with a beloved MCU character.

Ryan Reynolds uploaded the video on YouTube with the caption, “Two members of the MCYouTube react to the upcoming film #FreeGuy featuring Ryan Reynolds and Taika Waititi. Free Guy. In theaters and definitely NOT streaming on August 13th.”

Although it is unfortunate that Deadpool is the only character transitioning from Fox's X-Men franchise, geeks and comic book nerds everywhere are more than delighted to see him finally appearing in the MCU. The appearance was a bit short but it definitely made our Deadpool-Senses tingle. Oops. Wrong hero.

Free Guy is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on August 13, 2021, by 20th Century Studios. Its release had been pushed back three times from a July 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film is directed by Shawn Levy and stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, and Taika Waititi.
