Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Calais Campbell is known for terrorizing opposing quarterbacks as one of the league's premier sack-leaders. However, he flexed his Nostradamus-like abilities after guessing the exact score of their victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Divisional Round.

It was believed by most that the Steelers would essentially roll over the Jaguars en route to an AFC Championship rematch with the New England Patriots. Meanwhile, Campbell was confident in Jacksonville's chances for this game and had even predicted that the Jaguars could potentially win 45-42, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell:

“We'll do whatever it takes, we're trying to win whatever way we can, one play at a time and executing and all,” Campbell said. “I'll take 2-0 if it comes our way or 45-42 if it comes our way. As long as we win, I'm happy.”

Unlike the Steelers, Campbell and the Jaguars acknowledged the fact that it would be a hard-fought game. They played with the same kind of chip on their shoulder that they have largely had all season.

Jacksonville's elite defense played an integral role in helping seal the victory. They managed to force veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger into two uncharacteristic turnovers that ultimately gave the Jaguars a 14-point cushion to work with for the rest of the game. The handicap was certainly put to good use as they managed to hold off a near-comeback effort from Pittsburgh's offense.

While Campbell may have been on the mark this time around, he likely does not want to get into the habit of making such predictions from here on out.
