The lowly Jacksonville Jaguars are set to face a tough assignment as they go up against the Baltimore Ravens for Week 15 action. Head coach Doug Marrone still managed to joke around when asked regarding the team's preparations for their upcoming matchup against opposing quarterback Lamar Jackson, per Florida Times Union‘s John Reid.

Jackson has been on a tear as of late in a bid to will his team back to the playoffs after a previous three-game losing skid. He showed his prowess on rushing the ball when the Ravens were pitted against the Cleveland Browns for Week 14 action.

The 2019 NFL MVP led the game with 124 rushing yards on nine carries and two rushing touchdowns coupled with 163 passing yards on an 11-of-17 passing clip and a passing touchdown.

Apart from Jackson, the Ravens' rushing corps also starred with J.K. Dobbins producing 53 yards on 13 touches and a touchdown followed by Gus Edwards who recorded 49 yards on seven carries and two scores. The Ravens ultimately snagged an exhilarating 47-42 win against their division rivals to improve to an 8-5 record.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars are still on a downward spiral after they lost their 12th game in a row. Their most recent defeat came after succumbing to the surging Tennessee Titans who are also headlined by a rushing star in running back Derrick Henry.

The former Alabama standout came out to wreak havoc and rushed 215 yards on 26 carries along with two rushing touchdowns en route to a 31-10 victory for the Titans.

With a 1-12 record, the Jaguars will certainly have their hands full against a Ravens squad that is fighting tooth and nail for a seat in the playoffs. Hopefully, having an Olympic sprinter on their corner will eventually pay dividends for the Jaguars in their efforts to limit Lamar Jackson come Week 15.
