Jalen Ramsey may be at odds with the Jacksonville Jaguars over his contract, but that doesn't mean he isn't excited to see where things go in 2019.

Ramsey is particularly looking forward to watching Nick Foles under center.

“Probably the quarterback I’m most excited about is Nick Foles,” Ramsey said on Adam Schefter's podcast when asked about the signal-callers he is most looking forward to watching. “[I] don’t have to play against him, of course. He’s my teammate, a great teammate and the few interactions we’ve had have been great. [He’s a] great man, great player as well and he has nothing to prove to anybody because he’s a Super Bowl champion and a Super Bowl MVP, so I hope he comes out here and plays free and knows he has the support of everybody.”

The Jaguars signed Foles earlier this offseason after Blake Bortles put forth an incredibly disappointing performance in 2018 right after signing a three-year contract extension.

Jacksonville went on to release Bortles not long after bringing Foles aboard.

Foles certainly has an interesting career trajectory, as he doesn't have much of a track record as a starter and yet has one of the most magical Super Bowl runs we have ever seen under his belt, as he led the Philadelphia Eagles to their first ever Super Bowl title during the 2017-18 campaign after stepping in for the injured Carson Wentz late that season.

The 30-year-old relieved Wentz again late in 2018, starting five games and leading the Eagles to the Divisional Round of the playoffs, where they fell to the New Orleans Saints.

The Jaguars won just five games this past season, one year after making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game.
