The Jacksonville Jaguars may be without a couple of key offensive players to start the season, as Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone says that wide receiver Marqise Lee and offensive tackle Cam Robinson may not be ready for Week 1, according to Hays Carlyon of 1010 XL.

Both Lee and Robinson are recovering from knee surgery.

Lee suffered a season-ending knee injury during the preseason last August, and Robinson sustained a torn ACL in Week 2 of last September.

Injuries are not much of anything new for Lee, who has played just one full season since entering the league in 2014. Lee, who played his collegiate football at the University of Southern California, was originally selected by the Jaguars in the second round (39th pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He went on to play in 13 games during his rookie year, catching 37 passes for 422 yards and a touchdown. Then, the following season, Lee was limited to just 10 games due to injuries, logging a mere 15 catches for 191 yards and a score.

The 27-year-old then had a breakout year of sorts in 2016, appearing in all 16 contests and hauling in 63 receptions for 851 yards and three touchdowns. Lee proceeded to participate in 14 games in 2017, snaring 56 balls for 702 yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, Robinson is entering is third NFL season. He played his collegiate football at the University of Alabama and was originally selected by Jacksonville in the second round (34th pick overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He started 15 games during his rookie year and was impressive.

The Jaguars are coming off of a 2018 campaign in which they won just five games.
