The Jacksonville Jaguars should have seen a trade request from Jalen Ramsey coming after the sideline incident on Sunday. The Jaguars may move quickly to meet his demands by trading him this week, per Adam Schefter.

During Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Houston Texans, Doug Marrone seemed to get in Ramsey's face as the cornerback was sitting on the bench. After the two exchanged words, both of them had to be separated by players on the sideline.

At this moment, the reasoning behind the argument on Sunday is unclear. Regardless, the situation was enough to upset the All-Pro cornerback. The relationship between Ramsey and the Jaguars organization has been deteriorating over the past year.

Earlier in the offseason, Ramsey proclaimed his desire to receive a new extension from Jacksonville. On the other hand, the Jaguars informed Ramsey and his agent that they would not be giving him an extension this year.

In response to that, the shutdown cornerback said he won't be giving a ‘discount' to the Jaguars on his next contract. Ramsey is entering the fourth year of his rookie contract, where he is set to make $3.6 million in 2019.

The theatrical defensive back then showed up to training camp in a Brinks truck to send a message to the franchise. Ramsey is arguably the best cornerback in the NFL and is still only 24 years old, making him a wanted commodity by other teams.

Therefore, when teams heard that Ramsey wanted a trade from Jacksonville, they likely picked up their phones immediately.
