The Utah Jazz will face the Brooklyn Nets tonight without point guard Ricky Rubio, who was ruled out with a sore Achilles, according to Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Quin Snyder's team is already short a point guard with the absence of Dante Exum, making Raul Neto the default option to start tonight against a Nets team that might still be without point man D'Angelo Russell.

Without center Rudy Gobert and forward Joe Johnson, the Jazz listed forward Thabo Sefolosha as questionable for tonight's game, as Utah could be slated to face Brooklyn without their best player, best bench scorer, the top two point guards in the rotation and their best perimeter defender.

The Jazz have faced a myriad of injuries to start this season, which could put even more of the playmaking responsibilities on rookie Donovan Mitchell and Rodney Hood — both coming off shining performances against the New York Knicks.

Utah is now 6-9, having lost six of their last seven games after a 5-3 start to the regular season. Coach Snyder will be forced to get creative with his lineups against a Nets team that likes to push the pace and run the fast break with young, athletic bodies.
