While everybody thought that the Utah Jazz's offseason focus will just be on trying to improve the roster and working on the Donovan Mitchell-Rudy Gobert partnership, it appears they have another issue to address: Quin Snyder's future.

It initially looked like Snyder is going to stay with the Jazz, especially after he showed lack of interest about the Los Angeles Lakers' head coaching vacancy. Nonetheless, according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim MacMahon of ESPN, there still exists a possibility that the tenured head coach could part ways with the Utah franchise this offseason.

After weeks of conversations with ownership and management, Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder's future remains unclear and a possibility exists that he could decide to end his eight-year tenure with the franchise, sources told ESPN.

While talks are described as “good faith” attempts at a resolution that'll keep Snyder, discussions with owner Ryan Smith and CEO of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge have yet to secure the coach's return for next season, sources said.

The Jazz have reportedly offered to extend Quin Snyder's contract, but the head coach and the team have apparently had discussions on how to resolve the team's inability to contend for the title despite being consistent playoff contenders.

Until Snyder and the Jazz reach an agreement on how to move forward, it doesn't look like the team's coaching situation will be resolved.

For now, Jazz fans can only wait and see what move Utah makes next.
