It has been an extremely interesting week for Jamal Adams. The New York Jets superstar safety saw his name getting thrown around in trade rumors pretty heavily.

This did not sit well with him. Adams clearly was not happy with the organization for the trade attempt. However, they did not trade him and the deadline has now passed. That means they are stuck with each other for at least the rest of the season.

Then came Week 9's game. A game against the 0-7 Miami Dolphins, and a chance to get back on the right ship with a win.

That did not happen though. Instead, the Dolphins pounced on the issues the Jets were having and walked out of Week 9 with their first victory. They moved up to 1-7, while the Jets moved down to 1-7.

After the game, Adams spoke to the media.

Adams was smart with his words here. No one would have really blamed him if he expressed more disappointment. His team just lost to a team the entire world knows is actively tanking.

Instead, Adams said he wasn't going to blow up. He realized that sometimes everyone wants those soundbites that they can run all week, and he wasn't about to give anyone that ammo.

Still though, this was a very tough week for the safety, and a tough week for the Jets in general. They will look to bounce back in Week 10 against their city-rivals, the New York Giants.

Can Jamal Adams and company get back on track? Or will things continue to go off the rails? This season has been pretty disastrous so far. How much worse can it get before those soundbites start to come out?
