Mid laner Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro has reportedly found a home in his old team, Giants Gaming, for the upcoming Summer Split. Jiizuke will be returning to EU and rejoining his former team to compete in the LVP Superliga 2022.

Jiizuke spent two years in the North American region, competing in the LCS for Evil Geniuses for his whole stay. During this stint, Evil Geniuses couldn't find success. For the LCS Spring 2022 Season, he was replaced by Joseph “jojopyun” Pyun, leaving Jiizuke orgless. The Jiizuke-less Evil Geniuses went on to win the split, and the Italian mid laner made the most out of the situation and poked fun.

In a leaked image of what seems to be a press release by Giants Gaming, it introduces Jiizuke as their mid laner.

While none of this is confirmed yet, the press release is pretty convincing, seeing as how it follows the previous announcements that Giants Gaming has made.

The news also came at a good timing, since Giants Gaming just let go of their previous mid laner Aljoša “Milica” Kovandžić. If this news turns out to be true, the Giants Gaming roster would be as follows:

  • Top Laner: Antonio “Th3Antonio” Espinosa Bejarano
  • Jungler: Nubar “Maxlore” Sarafian
  • Mid Laner: Daniele “Jiizuke” Di Mauro
  • Bot Laner: Tim “Keduii” Willers
  • Support: Henk “Advienne” Reijenga
