Jimmy Butler is the second player in Miami Heat franchise history with at least 28 points, four steals and two blocks in a playoff game. The other? None other than franchise icon and future Hall of Fame guard Dwyane Wade (via HoopsHype's Frank Urbina).

This is fitting since Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade are very close friends off the court and one of the main reasons Butler signed with the Heat in free agency was because of Wade. D-Wade used to always brag to Jimmy about the Miami organization.

Behind's Butler's stellar game, the Heat took a 1-0 series lead over the Indiana Pacers. The Texas native, who has never been past the second round of the playoffs, is looking forward to leading Miami on a title run at Disney World with the help of Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic.

Butler has finally found a home after bouncing around from team to team over the past couple of years. He started off his NBA career with the Chicago Bulls and has since played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers and Heat.

The five-time All-Star, though he was productive, had rocky stints with the Bulls, Timberwolves and Sixers.

Butler averaged 19.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists for the Heat during the 2019-20 regular season. Most pundits have the Milwaukee Bucks coming out of the East, but Miami could certainly make some noise as well with Butler leading the way.
