Despite winning the Super Bowl, few pundits picked the Denver Broncos to win the AFC West this season. Rather than look at the positives on Denver's roster, people pointed to their lack of a solid starting QB and the unlikelihood that their defense would remain so dominant.

Through three weeks, the Broncos have silenced their doubters. The defense looks as scary as ever, and 2015 7th round draft pick Trevor Siemian has done enough at the quarterback position to lead Denver to a 3-0 start.

Yesterday's victory was especially impressive. The Cincinnati Bengals have been a perennial playoff team as of late, and their defense was supposed to pose a big problem to Siemian and the Broncos.

Instead, he made plays like this as Denver ran away with it, 29-17:

As Siemian rolled, Hall of Fame QB and Broncos general manager John Elway finally decided to get back at a critical fan.

Over a year ago, just days after the 2015 NFL draft, Elway published a tweet discussing Siemian's strengths and his potential. One fan wasn't so sure.

Many fans engage in debates regarding their team's draft picks, but when they publicly disagree with the people making those decisions, they don't always take kindly to it.

So, Elway responded to him on Sunday. The tweet has since been deleted, but the screenshot went viral:

To his credit, the fan owned up to his error in judgment. He might be taking it too far by trying to get a flight to Denver out of it, though:
