Judge Dredd in Warzone, who would've thought?
Judge Dredd, the ‘street judge' empowered by the law to apprehend, judge, convict, and execute criminals, might be the next punisher in Call of Duty Warzone. Warzone leaks indicate that a Judge Dredd skin is in the works and that he'll appear in Verdansk very soon. This news came after the Call of Duty Twitter page posted a collage of images teasing a new character.
The gloves, the US emblem, and the shoulder pads – all point to one person. The character's outfit seemed to belong to Judge Dredd, and hence speculation ran high that a Judge Dredd skin is coming along. However, all the speculation was laid to rest when Rebellion responded to the tweet.
What other confirmation do we need after this seeming confirmation by the publishers of Judge Dredd themselves? We haven't had a new Judge Dredd movie in a while, so this is a welcome return for the character.
What we should wait for now is if the Judge Dredd character will just be a skin, or if there will be a whole lot more into this collaboration. Are we getting a Judge Dredd-themed season and events, or will this just be a one-off skin purchase? We'll just have to wait.
