There are always some players in the NBA that resemble each other. Immanuel Quickley, Tyrese Maxey, and Bones Hyland are three that look extremely alike. Maybe it's the hair. Maybe it's their similar style of play on the court or even the skinny body types. Whatever it is, Quickley is sick and tired of being mistaken for Maxey and Hyland.

The New York Knicks guard jumped on Twitter and revealed if it happens again, he's going to straight-up shave his classic cut where he currently sports shorter dreads.

That's absolutely hilarious. It's safe to assume all three guys are currently at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and someone clearly believed Immanuel Quickley played for the Philadelphia 76ers or Denver Nuggets, not the Knicks.

The former Kentucky standout is coming off a respectable sophomore campaign in the Association, averaging 11.3 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds. However, Quickley's three-point efficiency took a dive, shooting just 34% from downtown as opposed to 38% in his rookie season.

It was honestly just a miserable year for the Knicks as a whole, missing out on the play-in tournament altogether and struggling to find their previous success from 2020-21. Immanuel Quickley will have a new backcourt partner next season however after Jalen Brunson signed a massive $110 million deal to come play at Madison Square Garden.

Hopefully, the Knicks can get back into the postseason mix in 2022-23. They'll certainly need Immanuel Quickley to take another step in Year 3 and make a bigger impact on a nightly basis. We also can't wait until he plays Tyrese Maxey and Bones Hyland.
