The New York Knicks outdid themselves yet again with their third major blown lead during the month of February. After allowing the Los Angeles Lakers to come back from a 21-point deficit and the Portland Trail Blazers to come back from a 23-point deficit, the Brooklyn Nets got a turn to mount a comeback win over New York.

Nets rookie Cam Thomas delivered a 16-point performance in the fourth quarter, which featured a cold-blooded dagger, to beat the Knicks. In their home arena, New York blew a 28-point lead to their crosstown rivals. A home overtime loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder prior to the loss to Brooklyn just enhances the pain.

Tom Thibodeau's baffling rotations and inability to generate offense late in games have been culprits in the Knicks' embarrassing losses. His inability to divert from his game plan has made the Knicks predictable and stale, especially in crunch time. Now, though, Thibodeau says that he'll consider anything to get the team back on track.

New York is in serious trouble heading into the All-Star break. A two-point win against the Golden State Warriors saved the Knicks from heading into the break on an eight-game losing streak. There's very little positive energy, especially with RJ Barrett dealing with an ankle injury. Fortunately for the Knicks, he should be back soon.

The Knicks have a lot to address during their time off. The playoffs grow further out of reach with every humiliating loss.
