Kyle O'Reilly's AEW Debut shocked the system, as he reunites the Undisputed Era alongside Adam Cole and Bobby Fish in AEW Dynamite earlier this week.

The Violent Artist showed up at the first part of Holiday Bash, attacking Orange Cassidy to help out Adam Cole secure a win. The two had a stare-down before reuniting, with Bobby Fish soon joining them. The three then stood on the ring with a roaring crowd, while the Young Bucks left Cole feeling confused about where his loyalties really lie. Effectively reuniting the Undisputed Era in AEW, the three original members of the NXT stable will be facing off Orange Cassidy and The BFFs in next week's Dynamite show.

Kyle O'Reilly's AEW debut has been hinted at by Adam Cole way back in October when Bobby Fish himself debuted in AEW. In an interview with comicbook.com, Cole said that in pro wrestling, you never say never and that he wished the best for his Undisputed Era stablemates, whether it meant them staying in WWE or hopping over to AEW. Two months later and O'Reilly did end up joining Fish and Cole in AEW.

O'Reilly's WWE contract expired only just two weeks ago, and it's indeed surprising to see him in an AEW show this early. This could mean that he had WWE's blessing to head on over to AEW, not exercising the no-compete clause that was surely in his contract.

Meanwhile, Kyle O'Reilly and his stablemates may still appear in WWE 2K22. A recent insider report assured that WWE superstars who were still under contract when the game was announced during Wrestlemania this year could still appear in the game's final roster. That bodes well for fans who would want to play with the Undisputed Era one last time in a WWE game before they start playing them in Yuke's very own AEW next-gen game.

The second part of Holiday Bash will air on tape delay on Christmas Day as a special Saturday night episode for Rampage. The second part will be headlined by AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevarra putting his title on the line against Cody Rhodes.
