LeBron James, man. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar proved that he still got what it takes to be the best player in the league against the Golden State Warriors. LeBron poured in a massive 56-point performance to will his team to a comeback win to attempt to salvage their season.

After the game, Alex Caruso, one of LeBron James' former teammates/best buds, reacted the same way most fans did. Caruso was in awe of the Lakers star's performance, tweeting out a five-word reaction that summed up LeBron's game perfectly.

“Yeesh” might be the best descriptor for what everyone in Crypto.com Arena just witnessed. Amidst a turbulent season rife with drama and losing, LeBron put on a clinic against one of the best teams in the league. Instead of focusing on managing the game, the Lakers star was hell-bent on imposing his scoring will against the Warriors.

LeBron simply could not be stopped. Try and prevent him from getting to the lane? He'll just drain three straight three-pointers like he was Stephen Curry. Key in on his shot? He'll simply take you to the rim and score on you. Try and double team him? Well, he still has his Lakers teammates to pass to. It's the type of game-breaking performance we saw from LeBron in 2016.

We can argue all day whether the Lakers' season is doomed regardless of this performance by LeBron. At the end of the day, we can only appreciate greatness when we see it. This is undeniably one of the greatest individual performances in NBA history.
