Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is a HUGE Green Bay Packers fans, and he wouldn't let the San Antonio Spurs prevent him from watching his favorite NFL team.

The Lakers' game against the Spurs started early on Sunday, which meant it would overlap with the Packers' showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. With that said, Davis knew he can't afford to let San Antonio extend the contest if he still wants to watch some part of the NFL match.

Gregg Popovich's men fought hard and were able to cut the Lakers' lead to just two, 105-103, with less than three minutes remaining on the clock. Realizing he needs to step up for his Packers … err for the Lakers, Davis did just that. He admitted as much in his postgame interview (which he seemingly wanted to get out as soon as possible to watch the Green Bay-Seattle contest).

It seems the Lakers have the scheduling to thank for Anthony Davis' explosion. Without the threat of missing Aaron Rodgers and Co. play, who knows how AD will perform. The Brow was certainly at his best versus the Spurs, finishing with a monster 34 points and 15 rebounds. He also had six assists as he was all over the floor to help the Purple and Gold in any way he can.

After such brilliant performance to lift the Lakers to 8-6 on the season, here's to hoping that AD was able to at least watch the second half of the game, which the Packers won comfortably 17-0.
