The Los Angeles Lakers are an abomination in a contender's clothing right now. It's different when it's a bad team playing poorly. They're expected to lose. But the league's marquee franchise with two former MVPs in LeBron James and Russell Westbrook isn't supposed to be this bad.

That's why their meltdown has been so highly televised. They're constantly in the national TV spotlight because of the names involved and yet they continue to lay eggs for everyone in America to see. Charles Barkley has had enough.

“Man, we're not showing these guys anymore,” said Barkley after the Lakers got blown out by the Clippers on TNT. “I'm making an executive decision around here. We're not showing them bums from Southern California anymore. We're stopping. C'mon man, we gotta stop showing their team.”

Charles Barkley has already refused to even say the word “Lakers”, hence his use of “Souther California bums” instead. Now he's taking it a step further and straight up calling for their removal from his own network.

It's hard to argue with him. LeBron James and Co. have lost seven of their last eight games and have gone 3-11 in their last 14 games. The Lakers are out of sorts and shining the spotlight on them as they unravel is starting to get cruel at this point.
