The Los Angeles Lakers had a surprise visitor during Tuesday's practice, as Chris Bosh was spotted talking to general manager Rob Pelinka and other Lakers players including Luol Deng and Briante Weber.

Pelinka is Bosh's former agent and one with great pull around the league. Bosh has not played a game since Feb. 9 of 2016, missing last season entirely with blood clot complications.

Bosh has expressed his desire to play again, but league executives have been reluctant to take a risk on his health after Miami Heat doctors deemed him a risky play at the beginning of last season, choosing to part ways with the Texas native.

An 11-time All-Star and two-time champion, Bosh is known to be one of the most versatile power forwards in the game, who could be getting plenty of offers at the moment if it weren't for his delicate condition.

Bosh expressed his desire to remain around the game of basketball during an interview with Larry King (via Miami Herald's Manny Navarro) but tossed away the notion of becoming a coach in the league someday.

“No, I don't want to coach,” Bosh said. “I will always be around the game of basketball. I think, if I do, it would be young minds. But grown men? No. I would not want to do that.”
