It isn't every day you get to be just a few steps away from LeBron James. For most fans, the first thing that needs to be done is get a picture with the King himself. Others would even go to great lengths and do crazy stuff just to get the attention of the Los Angeles Lakers' All-Star. But for this particular NBA card collector, there was only one way to make the best out of this rare situation.

In a video taken by Dubs Card Breaks and shared by Find Your Trove on Instagram, a fan sitting courtside was shown to be just a few meters from James himself during a recent match between the Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves. What sets this individual from every other fan out there is the fact that he was prominently flexing an insane LeBron James card with the King in the background.

The NBA card being flexed is no joke either. It's a 2007-08 SP Authentic By The Number Rookie Year card of LeBron James in his Cleveland Cavaliers uniform. It has a massive patch with the number three on it and was signed by no less than the Lakers' All-Star forward during his time with the Cavs. And to make things a lot better, that said NBA card is encased within a BGS slab with a grade of 9.

Heading over to eBay, a different copy of this card fetched $2,425 after reaching 20 bids. While that LeBron James card still contains a huge patch inside, the grade of the BGS slab is only 8, which lowers its value in the market. Nevertheless, it's still one bonkers pull any NBA card collector would love to have in their collection.

While the Lakers are currently fighting for a spot in the playoffs, it can't be denied that James is having a noteworthy season this year. One, of course, is scoring the most points combined for the regular season and postseason, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the process.

With James about to break the overall scoring title held by Abdul-Jabbar in a season or two, the legend of the Lakers' All-Star is about to get better. Of course, nothing can show one's love to the King better by flexing a bonkers NBA card just meters away from him in an actual game.
