Los Angeles Lakers controlling owner and president Jeanie Buss has said LeBron James is a real-life superhero. And in a recent tweet, Buss doubled down on her earlier statement, highlighting the elite standards of the Lakers organization.

Buss believes that LeBron's superhero-like persona fits the winning culture of the Purple and Gold. She recently spoke with Travis Rodgers and Allen Sliwa of 710 ESPN, where she shared her thoughts on the four-time NBA MVP and his impact on the Lakers.

According to Buss, she has grown to admire LeBron since the 17-time All-Star donned the Lakers jersey. She praised LBJ's professional attitude to everything he does. She also recalled his promise to her to bring the organization back to elite status. And The King did exactly that by guiding the Lakers to the NBA title last year.

Now in his third season with the Lakers, LeBron is still in top form and they remain as favorites to win the crown. They've been struggling as of late given the absence of Anthony Davis, but LBJ and the rest of the squad are trying their best to squeeze out victories.

Perhaps only time will tell if LeBron will join the ranks of Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kobe Bryant as icons who have won multiple titles donning the legendary Purple and Gold jerseys. But at the rate LeBron James is still going, he sure does have a chance to replicate the success of those that came before him. It would be exciting to see what he has to offer next.
