LeBron James put the Los Angeles Lakers on his back on Monday night. But that didn't shield him from some teasing from longtime rival Kevin Durant.

King James poured in 38 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers, making some Lakers history in the process. He's made such feats feel so normal that we sometimes take for granted just how far advanced he is in the usual timeline of an NBA career.

But Kevin Durant certainly won't forget. The Brooklyn Nets small forward was seen commenting on a LeBron James highlight reel of his performance in the most recent Lakers win.

“Easy work. It's funny how smooth that shit look at 48 years old lol,” teased Kevin Durant playfully at the Lakers star.

LeBron James is doing this all in his age-37 season. 37 years old might as well be 48 for some NBA players, whose athleticism and ability to keep pace with the younger players is far gone by the time they reach that age.

Kevin Durant is no spring chicken himself as he turns 34 later this year. But LeBron James has a good four years on him and continues to carry the entire Lakers franchise on his grizzled shoulders this season.
