Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has now made the second-most 3-pointers in NBA Finals history.

Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry is No. 1 on the list. James climbed to No. 2 in Game 1 of the Finals against the Miami Heat, surpassing Curry's teammate Klay Thompson.

LeBron James is playing in his 10th NBA Finals in 2020, attempting to win his fourth championship and fourth Finals MVP trophy.

If James is able to win the title AND the Finals MVP award at Walt Disney World, he would become the only player in NBA history to win three titles and three Finals MVP awards with three different teams.

In the Western Conference Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets, James averaged 26.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game for the Lakers while shooting 54.7 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from beyond the arc and 74.1 percent from the free-throw line.

It is truly incredible how dominant James has been at 35 years old. He has so many miles on his body and yet he's still the best player in the NBA.

The Lakers, should they win against the Heat, would tie the Boston Celtics with 17 championships in franchise history. It would be fitting since when you think about the NBA, the Purple and Gold and Celtics are usually the first two teams that come to mind.
