The Los Angeles Lakers may be out of playoff contention, but that doesn't mean LeBron James won't be watching the postseason. If his latest social media activity is any indication, it looks like he'll be keeping his eyes on Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors.

LeBron and Dray are good friends, and they undoubtedly have a strong connection given the fact that they are both represented by Klutch Sports. With that said, it's no surprise that the Lakers forward wished the Warriors star good luck as they gear up for the playoffs.

James took to Instagram to share his message, calling Green his “brother” before highlighting that it's “almost that time again.”

It is truly unfortunate that LeBron James and the Lakers have already been eliminated from the playoffs. Had they been able to make it as an eighth seed, it would have been interesting to see what they can do if they were healthy. Not to mention the possibility of them meeting Draymond Green and the Warriors. However, after what has been a disastrous year filled with injuries and chemistry issues, it was unavoidable.

James himself has also been ruled out due to injury after tweaking his ankle recently, which only further doomed LA's already slim chance of reaching the postseason.

For what it's worth, James' message for Green is a bit interesting given the fact that he has been linked with the Warriors after his comments on wanting to play with Stephen Curry. In his recent appearance on The Shop, he was asked about the players he want to play with, to which he replied his son. But when it comes to current active NBA players, his choice would be the Warriors sharpshooter.

“Steph Curry. Steph Curry’s the one I want to play with, for sure. In today’s game,” the Lakers superstar said. “Right now it’s Steph. Man, I love everything about that guy. Lethal. When [Steph] gets out his car, you better guard him right from the moment he pulls up to the arena… you might want to guard him when he gets out of bed.”

Do these recent statements mean LeBron wants to join the Warriors? That might be reaching it, but some fans and conspiracy theorists will certainly enjoy thinking about that.
