Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James took a moment out of his Christmas Eve morning to seemingly downplay the affects of COVID-19 using the famous Spider-Man meme. Classic!

LeBron has been unable to cloak his exasperation about the league's COVID-19 protocols, which has ravaged the Lakers in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, LeBron spent two days in isolation following what turned out to be a false positive test. He lashed out at the testing process in Sacramento and said he “knew” he didn't have COVID because he didn't feel sick. The omicron variant rapidly spreading across the United States is largely asymptomatic for vaccinated people, though it's highly transmissible.

“I knew I was gonna get cleared, because I never, ever felt sick at all. And I know you can be asymptomatic. But, if what I had was a positive COVID test, then what are we doing? Like what are talking about? I just thought it was handled very poorly,” James said.

Following the Lakers' 28-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, LeBron called out what he feels are random results to the league's testing process. The Lakers have seen nine different players enter protocols this month, five of whom are still out.

“It’s literally a crapshoot every single time you take a test at this point,” LeBron said.

LeBron has been vocal about mask-wearing and has praised the NBA's handling of the virus dating back to the bubble, but he raised eyebrows last spring with his skepticism about the vaccine. At Media Day, LeBron said he received the vaccine but did not want to be an advocate for the cause.

After his recent stint in protocols, James was asked whether he thought more about getting the booster shot.

“No. We’ve all been doing exactly what the protocols told us to do and taking the tests and things of that nature. It’s unfortunate when you get a false positive and get put into isolation. That’s the unfortunate part, but we’ll see what happens.”

Fortunately, the Lakers star only has *cleans glasses* 106 million Instagram followers.
