There has recently been a lot of talk about Father Time finally catching up to LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has probably grown tired of this disrespectful narrative — something that seems to pop up every single year — and decided to blow off some steam on Sunday against the Orlando Magic.

Magic guard R.J. Hampton thought that he had a clear path to the basket on a fastbreak play only to be on the wrong end of an emphatic chase-down block by the Lakers star (h/t NBA on Twitter):

LeBron timed his jump to perfection and he absolutely erased that shot attempt with some bad intentions. This has been a bit of a trademark from the Lakers talisman and unfortunately for Golden State Warriors fans, this play is eerily reminiscent of James' game-saving block from Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. That was one of the most iconic plays in NBA Finals history and unless you're a Dubs fan, you can watch that block over and over again. So here it is:

LeBron's volleyball spike block for the Lakers on Sunday was actually more emphatic than his swat against Andre Iguodala five years ago. However, there's absolutely no denying that the gravity of that play is second to none. Sorry, Warriors fans.
