Like father, like son. According to reports, the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has now taken some of his first steps towards building his own empire.

Bronny James has reportedly filed no less than three trademark applications and we can only assume that this is with the intent of using the same for future business dealings (h/t Trademark attorney Josh Gerben):

Bronny, who is the eldest son of Lakers icon LeBron James, is still a few months away from his 18th birthday but it is clear that he's already heading in the right direction in terms of building his own brand. After all, he's one of the most popular teenage ballers in the country today so it definitely makes sense that he starts cashing in on his fame sooner rather than later.

As the above report indicates, Bronny has applied trademarks for “Bronny,” his “B J JR.” signature, and “BRONALD.” It is currently unclear exactly how he intends to use these trademarks but he is expected to venture into the fascinating and highly-lucrative world of NFTs. He's also reportedly looking into the fashion and gaming industries as well, which is not at all surprising considering his current affiliation with certain esports brands.

We all know that Bronny has already inherited some of his dad's skills on the basketball court and it now appears that the Lakers star has also been teaching his son a thing or two about stacking that dough.
