Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been hobbled by injuries recently and is turning 37 soon, but he's still making records and leading the Purple and Gold to wins.

On Tuesday against the Houston Rockets, LeBron showed that he can still dominate games with an epic triple-double. He finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to power the Lakers to a close 132-123 win in the absence of Anthony Davis and more teammates due to health and safety protocols.

It is LeBron's fifth 30-point triple-double since turning 35, and according to Stat Muse, he is the only player to have multiple of such stat. The rest of the NBA has two, which is owned by Kobe Bryant and Larry Bird.

While LeBron James has shown signs of wear and tear–as proven by his recent injuries after being an iron-man throughout his career–there is no doubt he is still one of the most impactful players in the league. Without him, the Lakers wouldn't even be in the fight for the playoffs given their early season struggles.

For what it's worth, James did not only reach an old-man record, but he also joined Karl Malone and Kareem  Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in history to score more than 36,000 points.

James cannot defeat Father Time, and it's clear his prime days are numbered. But by the looks of it, he is making sure every game counts.
