The Los Angeles Lakers are not messing around. Not long after the defending champs brought in Dennis Schroder from the Oklahoma City Thunder via trade, L.A. once again made a splash by signing Montrezl Harrell to a two-year deal on Friday. Lakers superstar LeBron James has reacted to the news, and it prompted just a single emoji from The King.

LeBron took to his IG Stories to post this image (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

LeBron's reaction here can be interpreted in a myriad of different ways, but we'd like to think that this is James telling all the critics to shut it. There has been no shortage of rumblings about how the Lakers will struggle to defend their title next season, and at this point, L.A. has just proven that they are doing everything in their power to beef up their squad for their impending title defense.

With the signings of Schroeder and Harrell, the Lakers have upgraded their roster with the top two Sixth Man of the Year vote-getters last season. Harrell eventually came away with the award, with Schroder coming in second.

It is also worth noting that the Lakers also signed Wesley Matthews from the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, as they also add to their wing depth after losing Danny Green to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Schroder deal. On the other hand, L.A. also parted ways with veteran big man Dwight Howard, who himself opted to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers. Needless to say, the Lakers have been very busy of late.
