It's been relatively quiet of late when it comes to Los Angeles Lakers news with the playoffs in full swing and offseason events like the draft, free agency and summer league still a ways away.
But there was something this week with rookie point guard Lonzo Ball getting a new tattoo that read “Born 2 Ball.”

That phrase certainly applies to Ball whose father, LaVar, of course had plans for his sons to ball from the time of birth.
Lonzo Ball's rookie campaign had its ups and downs but for the most part he showed a lot of the promise that made him the No. 2 overall pick in last year's draft.
His younger brother, LiAngelo, is hoping to get drafted this summer but it won't be nearly as high as Lonzo did, if he even gets picked at all. The plan all along by LaVar was to get LiAngelo to the Lakers. It will be interesting to see if the organization gives LiAngelo a look at all in teaming him up with his brother.
