The Los Angeles Lakers have struggled to win games as of late, losing to cellar-dwelling teams like the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers over the past week. Luke Walton's squad has been missing the services of superstar LeBron James and veteran guard Rajon Rondo, and they haven't been able to find consistent production from everyone, particularly their heralded young guys.

Following the shocking loss to the Cavs two days ago, Walton hinted that he will be making some changes in the starting lineup because he said the team's starters back then have been lacking energy over the past couple of games.

Walton did just that in the Lakers' game against the Chicago Bulls, replacing JaVale McGee with Tyson Chandler at center, and inserting Kentavious Caldwell-Pope at the shooting guard spot instead of Josh Hart.

The Lakers did beat the Bulls 107-100. However, Luke Walton is still deciding on whether or not he'll keep this starting five for the team's succeeding games.

Caldwell-Pope put up 17 points, four rebounds, and two steals while Chandler had eight points, three rebounds and two assists in the win.

With the team having a hard time in getting consistent production from guys like Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma, having veterans like Chandler and Caldwell-Pope produce decent numbers makes it easier for other members of the team.

The Lakers will now go on a two-game road trip to face the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets before going back to Staples Center to host the Golden State Warriors on January 21.
