People can’t still get over LeBron James’ I Promise School in Akron, Ohio. That’s understandable, though, as there aren’t plenty of such institutions sprouting across the country. In fact, the I Promise School is one of a kind in a lot of sense.

Apart from education, students, and even the families of the children who go there, get to enjoy a myriad of perks they would not have access to in other schools.

Here’s a list of the perks offered by the I Promise School of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.

The school checks all the boxes that make an academic establishment great — and has created even more boxes for it to shade. It gives students free uniforms, free meals, free transportation, and also helps the kids’ parents find jobs. Essentially, the only thing the kids will have to worry about is how to improve their grades. To further motivate them, the school promises full scholarship at the University of Akron for students who will graduate.

Speaking of perks, the Lakers are set to get many from the four-time MVP, beginning in the next season. Here are some of them:

-A player who has a proven track record of carrying any type of team at least into the playoffs

-A playoff performer

-A walking statistical juggernaut

-A surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer

– A winner

The Lakers are hoping that the younger players on their roster will learn a lot from James, who will look to lead the team into graduating from years of inferior play.
