Did Russell Westbrook just drop a major hint about his plans to leave the Los Angeles Lakers this summer? If you look at his recent social media activity, it would be easy to interpret that this is exactly what he's done.

Westbrook's Instagram post from December resurfaced after a random fan posted an intriguing message in the comments section suggesting that Russ do everything he can to try and leave LA. This is nothing new, right? Well, what made this particular comment blow up is the fact that Westbrook himself apparently liked the comment (h/t Zach Stevens of Lakers Daily):

In truth, this could be nothing. For all we know, Westbrook could have accidentally liked the comment unknowingly. I'm pretty sure this is what he's going to say if this blows up completely. Then again, it could be something.

Westbrook isn't exactly the most loved individual by Lakers supporters right now and the fans have pretty much been calling for his head all season long. He's got to have grown tired of all the slander at some point.

You have to consider, however, that Westbrook has 47,100,000 reasons to stay in Hollywood. He has a player option on his current deal and it's virtually unimaginable that the former league MVP turns down a guaranteed $47.1 million for the 2022-23 season.
