Talen Horton-Tucker has long been linked to a move away from the Los Angeles Lakers. It’s no surprise that the 21-year-old now continues to see his name dragged into trade rumors as LA looks to continue to build its squad around LeBron James for 2022-23.

According to Dan Woike and Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers could be eyeing Chicago Bulls guard Coby White in a potential deal as they explore their options on THT:

The Lakers could also look to acquire players via trade, with rival executives believing Chicago’s Coby White could be a target. White did not exactly have a tremendous year with the Bulls last term, and he could be surplus to requirements in Chicago. The seventh overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft will be on an expiring deal too, which adds further value to his name.

As for Talen Horton-Tucker, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard is seen by many as one of the Lakers’ few remaining assets in any potential trade deal. Many believe that LA will be active in the trade market this summer, and it appears that THT’s exit could be inevitable.
