Life looks quite a bit different for Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis these days.

“King James” and “The Brow” are both sidelined with injuries as the Lakers try to keep pace in the Western Conference. They are unable to take it to the hardwood, so they are channeling their energy on the sticks instead. Well, Davis is.

Davis was playing Call of Duty with Lakers guard Dennis Schroder when his game was interrupted by a FaceTime from LeBron.

James himself has never been the most adamant of gamers, though former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Channing Frye once told a humorous about LeBron's affinity for the Mario Kart franchise. Alternatively, Davis's love for gaming is pretty well understood at this stage.

Regardless, the Lakers surely cannot wait to have both of their superstars back on the court.

Los Angeles sat at 21-6 when Davis sustained a calf injury in mid-February. The Lakers are just 9-11 since and have lost three straight after James suffered an ankle injury against the Atlanta Hawks earlier this month.

The Purple and Gold have since rallied by winning two straight, though those wins came against lowly Eastern Conference opponents in the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic. The upcoming slate is a bit tougher, as the Lakers play the Milwaukee Bucks and crosstown rival Clippers in two of their next three matchups.

Los Angeles is exhibiting caution with respect to the health of its stars. Davis has yet to resume basketball activities and James could be out for most of April.
