Fresh off his introductory press conference as the newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers, six-time All-Star Anthony Davis hit the Universal Studios in Hollywood to try his hand at a game.

Davis attempted the “dunk flunk” game, hitting from deep and exclaiming “all year at Staples Center.”

The Lakers acquired Anthony Davis in June right before the NBA draft, sending young players Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and multiple first-round picks to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Davis is a three-time All-NBA team member, former All-Star Game MVP and multiple-season block champion. He'll be on a lineup boasting talents like LeBron James, Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma. LA also signed DeMarcus Cousins and Jared Dudley, and re-signed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Rajon Rondo, Alex Caruso and JaVale McGee.

It'll be a battle at the Staples Center, home to the Lakers and rival Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers signed Kawhi Leonard in free agency and traded for Paul George.

James has long pined for Davis, whom the Lakers tried to acquired before the February 2019 trade deadline. Eventually, following the resignation of former team president and Hall of Famer Magic Johnson, GM Rob Pelinka finally was able to strike a deal with the Pelicans for the massive haul.

Hopefully, the move pays in dividends and Lakers fans see Davis perform as well as he does at the Universal Studios attraction.
