LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has been named as the captain of his own All-Star team for the third straight season. However, although Anthony Davis is also among the players in the starterā€™s pool, James responded facetiously when asked if he would select AD when he drafts his team:

As you can see, James lightly mocks Davis. But it is clear that the 35-year-old living legend does actually ā€œlike AD like that.ā€ After all, he orchestrated a trade between his team and the Pelicans this offseason. That trade allowed LBJ to team up with arguably the best teammate of his career. No disrespect to Dwyane Wade, of course.

Luka Doncic, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard joined James and Davis as starters in the Western Conference.

The All-Star game will take place February 16 in Chicago.
